River Piedra

A few hours ago I said this word to the special guy who made my days clear,
bright and complicated...
"Thank You".
That means saying the most sincere thank you ever.
Lol. beacause of him I was inspired.
Right now I am inspired by my dream. :)

I wrote this note because I remember the book of Paulo Coelho's
By the River Piedra I Sat Down and Wept. My beloved story of love.
Our short story might not came out to be like the best love story of that book
but I grateful that he finally came into my life unexpectedly and so damn fast.

I may trigger the wars :) but saying that after those arguments have ended
that the love decreases up to some point.
What? If you truly love a person love wont decrease because
true love is only meant to increase as days goes by. One point.

Then, there are doubts. Doubts came because of the feeling of unimportance.
I dont want to elaborate it. I think I deserve a man who is capable of handling
a relationship without a single doubt of how important am I to him. Second point

I must admit that I have been waiting for this that is why I said "Thank you".
He let me go. I had a glimpse of my fate before and I am rejecting that part before
when I met him, but now I guess it is hard to break fate when it means
that it is your only one way to happiness. :)

I still don’t know if we are really meant to be friends or if he is really the one?
But I am hoping that the next time I would go into a relationship
it is not just with a man who passed by "dumaan lng" in my life but
a man who intended to last forever, without him having a decreased love
after every arguments but a love that is more than a glass can sustain.

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button

"I was born under unusual circumstances"
-Benjamin Button

And so begins “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button,” adapted from the 1920s story by F. Scott Fitzgerald about a man who is born in his eighties and ages backwards. A man, like any of us, unable to stop time. We follow his story set in New Orleans from the end of World War I in 1918, into the 21st century, following his journey that is as unusual as any man’s life can be. Directed by David Fincher, “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” is a time traveler’s tale of the people and places he bumps into along the way, the loves he loses and finds, the joys of life and the sadness of death, and what lasts beyond time.

The film has received genesrally positive reviews. As of January 24, 2009, the review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes reported that 72% of critics gave the film positive reviews, based on 169 reviews, with 77% of selected "Top Critics" gave the film positive reviews. According to Metacritic, the film received an average score of 70 based on 36 reviews. Yahoo! Movies reported the film received a B+ average score from critical consensus.

Todd McCarthy of Variety gave the film a positive review, calling it a "richly satisfying serving of deep-dish Hollywood storytelling." Peter Howell of The Toronto Star says: "It's been said that the unexamined life is not worth living. The Curious Case of Benjamin Button suggests an addendum: a life lived backwards can be far more enriching..." and describes the film as "a magical and moving account of a man living his life resoundingly in reverse" and "moviemaking at its best." Kirk Honeycutt of The Hollywood Reporter felt the film was "superbly made and winningly acted by Brad Pitt in his most impressive outing to date." Honeycutt praised Fincher's directing of the film and noted that the "cinematography wonderfully marries a palette of subdued earthern colors with the necessary CGI and other visual effects that place one in a magical past." Honeycutt states the bottom line about Benjamin Button is that it is "an intimate epic about love and loss that is pure cinema."

Joe Morgenstern of the The Wall Street Journal gave the film a rave and states "Benjamin Button is all of a visionary piece, and it's a soul-filling vision." Rex Reed of The New York Observer describes "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button is a monumental achievement—not only one of the best films of the year, but one of the greatest films ever made", and further states that it is "brilliantly directed and acted, sumptuously photographed and endlessly fascinating."

my rate: 10/10 perfect score

I have watched this movie last Jan. 31, 2009. I didn't know that the movie has a deep and inspiring theme. Ofcourse, like those girls that was so fanatic and mesmerized by Brad Pitt's charms, i also intended to watch this movie. After reading the summary of the movie, I said to myself.. "wow". Then at that moment, I watched the movie. It was so inspiring fiction made by F. Scott Fitzgerald in the 1920's. It is my pleasure to rate this movie, in my opinion, as a perfect score of 10/10. It was so inspiring, althought the part in the movie wherein Benjamin left his family to travel on his own and to leave his family in the arms of the other man because he wanted to reserve a better future with his daughter in the arms of the most appropriate man to do the job, that he thought in the end he would eventually be grown as a child and die. I cried in the end of the story. I just can't help it specially the moment wherein Daisy accompanied Benjamin untill the end. OMG,, huhuhu.. It is the best movie by far. Enjoy the movie!

tempting

Oh crap

Heya, my new blog post is about temptation

Well, last Saturday we went to this famous university in Katipunan and whaalaala there are so many handsome, cutie guys there. Whew! Next to that, after a few hours, the official time was 10pm; my high school tropapeepz and I (of course) went to Timog, Q.C for our very first gimik together. Actually that was my super postponed birthday celebration. We, party people (that’s what we called our tropa for that party churva) went to Dampa and drink some beer, then around 12am we went straight ahead to White Ave. whew! You guys know what’s next, of course dancing and drinking, others smoke but not me. I arrived safe and sound (why is that? just joking people) in my apartment around 4:35 am. In the end, it was a hell super party people. I almost went home super exhausted. That’s temptation number one because once you have start partying it goes with your nerves, it’s like craving for more and more, meaning until next Saturday for party number two but this time with another set of friends. I just remember that today my classmate invited me to go partying with them, what? Haha. Oh gosh, this is temptation right?

The next temptation, (haha , sorry for the word) is about whew guys!, I mean a guy okay? Only one, oh no, there are two handsome sacristan in my university who were present in our foundation day ceremony today. I remember the famous book of Paulo Coelho. That book is about a guy who was about to become a priest that in the end he didn’t become one. He later chose his beloved girl since childhood, who was patiently waiting in the River Piedra. Actually the girl admitted to herself that there was no chance for both of them that she late turned to the River Piedra, sat down and wept. But I believed that her soul is waiting for that guy. God granted freedom and love for these lovers because in the end the guy appeared in that River Piedra and confessed his love for her. Now, why did I discuss the novel? A big NO if I’m thinking of having the same story. No. haha. They were just cute guys. That’s all. How sad for those ladies falling in love with a servant of God, like sacristan and worst even priest. They should move on and accept God’s decision that these people whom they loved most belonged to God.
